bono from U2 on radio 702 about 11-30 am today wed 16th feb

yeah i know many of you inexplicably dispise bono for his humanitarian work but for those of you interested in hearing what projects he's up to in sa apart from just having a concert or 2 ..he's doing some very good work and spoke last night i think in jhb at a conference .......but anyway love him or hate him he will be on radio 702 at 11-30 today for 30 min .........

I dont think anyone here is such a monster that he is despised for his humanitarian work ... at least i sincerely hope no one does ....

yeah i listened ....was a good interview and i'm sure there will be a podcast on 702's website

he answered the question re the "kill the boer song' talked about his humanitarian work he started in 80's , and about his wife who is still married to him since 1982 and in rock and roll world that incredible.... also mentioned his 4 kids... and of course some very interesting perspective why his band U2 has been together since school days and still going strong ..... ok i'm a fan but i thought it was a great interview...... and he himself said of course he's a narcisist and that u2 are not only about serious issues and are in it for the fun (he mentioned crawling out of bars on all 4's ? .how irish ) anyway this interview made me like him more , he has loyalty to his wife and band and because of him millions of children are now going to school in africa since the foreign debts got cancelled. so a good man all round

Just listened to the podcast. Great and entertaining interview. Agree with Keira's views on it.

Even if you don't like Bono or U2, you'll probably still enjoy this interview. Or you could find some more ammunition to fuel your anti-Bono sentiments. Either way, it's a win-win scenario, so have a listen.
