Just a quick Q for the technically minded.
I'm re-buliding my pedal board AGAIN :? and will be incorporating my recently aquired Line 6 G30 wireless system (thanks MR T 8)).
Here's the thing though. Do I HAVE to use the line 6 power supply that comes with it or can i run it off my CIOKS DC-10 power supply? I'm pretty sure that the CIOKS will be able to power it as I'm not running a helluva lot off it with pedals etc. but is it advisable to use something other than the Line 6 power supply? The G30 supply is rated at 9.6VDC and 200mA. All I'll have in the setup is my Bad Horsie wah, TU2 tuner,NS2,CH1 chorus,DD20 delay and GE7 eq.
I basically just want to save some space and not have a million cables etc all over the place :?
Mr-M
You can run it off your CIOKS just fine. Use it on a 9V output with at least 200ma available. I used my BBE Supacharger, which is not as good a supply as your DC10, and it worked perfectly. The fact that you can use a typical pedal power supply is one of the main selling points of the G30 over other wireless units.

Just check the polarity of the Line6 and make sure it matches the Cioks cable!

Will check that out aswell.
Thanks Matta 8)

The polarity is negative center.
