So...
...my aunt is president of the Edenvale rotary club, and she asked me to help her out with some live music for this social event she's having on Valentine's Day
I'm doing a few acoustic love songs (stop giggling) all by my lonesome, but I'm wanting to have at least a little fun with the whole thing.
Song list:
1) Jason Mraz - I'm Yours
2) Jack Johnson - Banana Pancakes
3) John Mayer - Daughters
4) Bryan Adams - Everything I Do
5) David Gray - This Year's Love
6) Chris de Burgh - Lady in Red
7) Eric Clapton - Layla
8) Billy Joel - Just the Way You Are
I want to do at least two really off-beat, funny takes on love songs, so...
9) Flight of the Conchords - Most Beautiful Girl in the...Room
10) ??
So that's the reason for the post. Not so much so that you bastards can laugh at my dilemna, but to help me find another funny number to fit into the set. Either that, or something more up-beat and fun, like "You Really Got Me" which I tried but sounds a bit doff on solo acoustic (when I play it, at least).
Any ideas?

I love how people always sing along to the chorus in a golden-oldie type way...but fail to listen to the rest of the lyrics..
While on The Kinks note - You really got me, should get the ladies going ?

Grow old with you - Adam Sandler? Not a serious song, but cute and catchy.

Hell Warren, you giving Lady in Red a bash, difficult to find a key to sing that in?
Chris de Burgh has quite a vocal range
A fun one could be "Love is all Around" , WetWetWet's version.
Van Morrison "Have I told You lately"
Dan Fogelberg "Longer"
John Lennon "Jealous Guy"

Probably not a funny song - although amusing with some quirky lyrics ('Youre Celtic ... United ... but, baby Ive decided, you're the best team I've ever seen' 8)) - is You're in My Heart You're in my Soul by Rod Stewart. Great singalong chorus, essentially an accoustic song and should resonate with Rotary Club age group. Not sure of the format and age-group of your function, but based on my experience of local Rotary functions my concern is that your set-list may be a bit too contemporary. YIMHYIMS should even the set out nicely era-wise.
