Hi all

If you doing nothing on the 24th, my instrumental duet (Mischief guitar duet) made it into the Andy Mcgibbons acoustic guitar forum concert right across his shop. We played at a competition where he asked us to play at the forum. I'll mention this forum at the gig. There will be many guitarists there.

Venue: Old Parktonians. Cnr of Garden road & Jan Smuts ave (diagonally opposite Andy McGibbons guitar world). Doors open at 7:30 and entry is R20 (if I'm not mistaken).

And it would be great to meet you guys.

I hope it's OK to post this here?

All original. It is a prerequisite for the concert and also, I'm done playing covers unless it's something I really like. It's alot of Flamenco mixed with jazz and funk type of thing. Lots of lead work. It eeez my passion but I want to do alot of electric work next year as well.

Record some of your songs and create a myspace profile. Thats an easy way of getting people to notice you, nowadays most of people go to the internet if they want to find new music.

Yes. Thanks Manny. You are right. We are working on new recordings with better equipment so I'd rather use the new material on MySpace.

That is old faithful.......
Had this guitar eversince i can remember, it is jackson kelly js30ke, basically a entry level jackson guitar, but modified it, new pick ups, bridges and still want add an aluminium srcatchplate, it really is a great guitar for me, because i played all my session gigs with "The metalhead guitar", people actually started to notice me whith that axe, i paid R2400 for it 3 years ago and it is still going strong, i've played on deans,prs,fender and ESP but none of them come close to my customized kelly, it's not what you pay for a guitar, it's what you do with it that counts.
