Dunno if this has been discussed before, but it looks like Dean is / will be offering a version of Uli John Roth's Sky Guitars:

Always been interested in guitars that break the traditional mold, which is why I quite like the Parker Fly.
Interesting bits about the Sky Guitars:
- One had 36 frets, one had 42 frets. Frets above 24 - I think - were in whole tones as otherwise it's too hard to play ?
- Pickups are four-coil (!), one of which is mounted underneath the fingerboard.
Anybody interested in picking one up? ? I wonder what they'd go for...
EDIT: that site says $6500, dunno if that's legit though.
