okay, not a difficult song at all, just one teeny little part that I physically can't overcome...
Song: Metallica-Bleeding me

Here's the tab, the part I can't get is the bold part where you slide on A-string from 5th fret to 2nd and simultaneously on low E-string from 4th to 3rd ??? is it the tab thats impossible or am I missing something here?

use [ font=courier ] to monospace for tabs...

I don't have my guitar in my hands at the moment but it doesn't seem like it should be impossible. Put your index finger on the E string, fret 4, and your middle on the A string, fret 5, as indicated. Now slide your middle finger down to the second fret, while at the same time sliding your index finger down to the third fret. Your middle finger slides past your index finger in such a way that your middle finger is now closer to the nut, as opposed to the first shape.

Tentop, that doesn't seem possible.

I would personally only slide on of the notes, and focus on the song, not nitpicking the details ?

Seems fine to me for some reason. Will try it out tonight. You could also use your thumb on the low E and your index finger on A.

Oh i see the trick is with the index finger and the middle finger and that they swap. Based on the tap, it seems correct, but it is quick work. Practice doing the 'flip' slowly before you get fasster

Yeah, ive been trying that, it entails partially dislocating your thumb and risk fretting with your knuckle by accident (got big hands), but I'll have another go at it, if it still doesn't float my boat I'll just play around with the notes until I find something apropiate, I saw in an other tab it being done like this
