String related question

I use D'addario EXL110XL 10-46 nickle wound strings on my strat and have a question around strings in general. these strings sound perfect on 2 of guitars straight out of the pack but on my strat (with toneriders) i prefer the tone after about 3 weeks of playing when they really come into their own.

So , what strings would u recommend to get from the start to sound like these after 3 weeks ?

Go for pure nickel wrapped - they are softer feeling and sound broken in immediately. I tried a set of Rotosound Pure Nickels recently and liked them a lot (although I do prefer the stiffer feel and brighter tone of nickel plated steel).

Actually on that note, I tried half a dozen sets of Rotosound strings, electric, bass and acoustic and quite liked them all. I won't use anything else on my bass now and will probably stick with their Nexus coated acoustic set on my steel-string too (I usually use the Elixir Nanos).

Major high 5! I've found myself being very impressed by Rotosound, they're now my second choice if Dean Markley Blue Steels aren't available ?
