ETA, I'd like to add something else to the pot if I may. Tamago's post reminded me a LOT of myself in a previous life. It was like reading something that I'd posted, and the passing-of-the-buck-self-rationalization type approach made me instantly de bliksem in, because I saw it immediately for what it was.
While my intent was not to flame the guy, I do think that he needs a hard perspective on why he thinks he wants to quit - it's got nothing to do with the reasons he cited, and he knows it as well as I. I'm still waiting for him to climb back into this thread so he can explain his feelings further.
TD when I read Tamago's post it also brought back a lot of memories for me too, and kind of reminded me of the many opportunities (in music) that I missed, in fact I hung up my guitar for about 10 years (well not quite hung up but more stuck away under the bed...). I also used the excuse that kids/wife/job/cash/everyotherexcuse in the book as to why I should stop playing because all these things were standing in my way.... dont get me wrong I don't for a moment regret getting married or having kids or being fortunate to be employed BUT I wish someone had k@kked me out all those years ago, the way you said it to Tamago... bottom line is if you have a dream/passion for something follow that dream and keep doing it,, very often people give up when success is literally around the corner.
SO,, @Tamago,,, don't do it dude, you have the added talent of building and fixing amps,, now try rearrange your time a bit better and juggle some priorities and post your progress on this forum,,, you'll be surprised at the support you'll get from the GFSA'ers ?
