I am going to put the tube rectifier back in circuit and clean up the power filter capacitor arrangement.

Hey Karel. Super stoked to see my amp on this forum. Its great to know its in seriously good hands. Cant wait to see what you are going to do with the Bassman and vox.

In the late 60's, early 70's a band from CT called The Rockets (the original band), used all Selmer amps, and they were AWESOME!!!!

Robbie Jansen (top SA Jazz saxophonist, and featured on "Mannenberg" with Abdullah Ebrahim, who passed on about 2 years ago), was the rhythm guitarist/lead vocalist at the time, with a guy called Georgie Carelse on lead (the only guitarist I ever heard play the "Whole Lotta love" solo exactly like Jimmy Page, tone and all........) through those Selmers .......

I never played a Selmer amp myself, but what I heard, was simply mind-blowing tone...... AndyD .......

I rebuilt a Selmer All Purpose 30 last year. Great solid amp with a nice Voxy chime ?
