Squonk
Hi
Anyone played one of these yet. I am referring to the SLG100N (nylon). I saw Lee Ritenour use one on a couple of songs live, It sounded quite reasonable, maybe the effects made it sound good.
we go away once a year and a portable would be good. what do you guys do when travelling and there isn't enough space to take your guitar?
My family always give me a hard time when packing for holidays!

Hi Squonk,
We had a bit of a discussion about them in the thread below:
[having some trouble - won't hyperlink me to the thread, no matter what I do! If you want, click on "Your Gear" category, then go to page 2 thereof and click on "riaan-c's-gear-ignore-the-two-earlier-posts!!/msg5629/#msg5629". About halfway down that thread.
Still haven't played one though, but some interesting alternatives were discussed in the thread.
Cheers

I played a nylon one recently - surprisingly nice.

Hi Squonk
They are very nice - on holiday u would need earphones or a MicroCube/something portable for volume.
The built-in reverb is good too.
Barely any volume unplugged - nice and small when disassembled - great for cover work - I have a mate ith the nylon and played a cover gig run with a singer who uses the steel - good stuff !
