Durban drivers SUUUUU_UUUUCK... with an underscore
They do? I didn't know that...having been in Durban all my life, i mean I've taken trips, but only when I was young and I've never driven/ridden anywhere outside of Durban... (only been on the road for little over a year...)
But about bikes, I ride a bike and the first month I had it, I was going along a straight road during the day (with a white bike) and a lady on the left of me was turning right and didn't see me so she just pulled out in front of me...there was a crash, but luckily I wasn't going fast, so no injuries. But since that day I just assume nobody sees me, so if I see a car in a side street and I have right of way, I still slow down as if that car hasn't seen me and is just going to turn in front of me, that way, if they don't see me, I'll be fine. Also driving like a car is a lot safer as well i.e no ducking between traffic other than how a car might overtake...
No more accidents since that first one, lets hope this track record holds ?
