AC/DC rumour

[deleted]

A few weeks ago a little birdie told me that he'd heard a rumour that AC/DC are planning a trip to SA this year... I've trawled Googleland but can't find anything online ???. Has anyone else heard this/does anyone know anything about it? I'll camp in front of Computicket for a month to get my hands on those tickets... hehe

FenderBender

I also heard a rumour about this and can find nothing either. I'd camp for a year and eat bread and water to get tickets if I had to!

If it does happen, someone must put it up on the Events page, nice and BIG and BOLD :?

G-Man

My brother would go nuts if they came, he's got every single one of their albums and just about all their DVD sets.

I prefer the Bon Scott era AC/DC myself but if I got a chance to go to a concert here then I'd hit it for sure!!

samIam

+1 on scott, but my wife would love to see them ?

flatfourfan

I sure as hell hope that this is true. Anyone else hear anything about Maiden looking into a few dates in SA?

Guess those ticket prices will be insane, wonder if you'll be able to get a GFSA discount ? don't think my studentcard will work on that one ☹ haha, what you guys think the going rate would be if they come to SA?

On a side note, P.O.D. is coming 14,15,16 June if anyone is interested.

Would be very cool if they make it to SA.
As I understand it, they are on their Black Ice world tour, but no dates for SA so far :'(

You and me both?

Reinhard

Ill probably go see more than one show if AC/DC came ?

Hammeron

I would not be surprised if maiden came.

.....for the second time...would be the first time for Bruce and Adrian tho.
With their new mode of transport I reckon SA has become an easier bet.
On another note... Judas Priest are embarking on their final world tour this year, and I have a good feeling they might just pop in.... ?
