The Prestige is R13000, the RGA8 R6000 so spending 2-4K on modding might be worth it.

Why, why did they put active's in the RGs?? So difficult to scoop those mids! Stupid. >☹
To be honest the RGA8 is made of mahogany and not a particularly great grade of it, there were lots of cases of the support screws ripping out. The actives they put in the RGA8 just defy comprehension, they are seriously another type of WTF? I've found the EMGs aren't bad but I miss the characteristics of passives ? Also I tend to push my midrange up so I'm not really sure why you'd wanna scoop em but hey that's your vibe ?
