What's the best way to subscribe to Guitar Techniques? I end up buying it most months at CNA but too often it's out of stock..

At around R80 an issue, delivered to your door, its by far the best method!
Its also what i have been doing for quite a few months now!
Though i dont subscribe! just buy issue for issue now!

just a heads up , Magz in Rosebank has FEb, MArch, April and May 2012 editions in stock , 72 ront each.

I think guitarist have an online Ipad option now but not sure if this is available in SA? (and I do feel spoilt that I have access to a lot of mags in the UK...)

Guitarist no longers comes with CD's you have to access the content online now. CD's were removed from edition 350. online is way way way better by the way

At the local CNA, it sets me back R 200.00
I really should consider a subscription.

Magz in rosebank got the dec ishoo of guitarist and nov ishoo of guitar techniques fresh on the shelves.....

The also have a lot of previous months of both titles....

I've downloaded a couple of Guitarist mags to my IPAD. The January 2013 of Guitarist Deluxe is now available for free!!! Includes the interactive CD content etc.etc. at a fraction of the cost +/- R50 depending on exchange rate. Download size +/- 500MB.

Go e, go green & save em trees for important things like guitars.

Even less! That's what I do. But as for going green I dont know. Pulp is made from cultivated pine trees, no? They eff up the countryside as much as cutting down indigeounous trees does. And I must tell you, it's still a bit strange wandering off to the crapper with the IPAD.

All this gave me an idea. Actually awakened an idea that I had about 10 years ago. What if a few GFSA'rs join forces to produce and publish a SA Guitarist magazine? Doesn't have to be big and fat and glossy for starters, but there is more than enough knowledge and topics/stories on this forum alone to slap together the first few editions. Anybody interested in being part of such a project? PM me, maybe we can brainstorm. How many of you guys would actually buy such a magazine if it's priced under R40 bucks?
