+1! Funny about the karate kid stuff. Always loved those movies, they played a big part in shaping my character as a kid. And as silly as Daniel's training was, there is a big Miyagi-san factor when practising my axe, especially repetitive fretboard fingerings.
When I get gatvol, all I hear is, "Riaan-san! Show me waxa-quasi-chromatic-fretting-exercise."
Suitably chastised, I carry on. It is the only path to becoming a ninja.
