Super Switch?

I'm interested in getting a super switch for my HSS frankenstein. I've heard that there are many additional wiring options that can be achieved with it. I just cannot find good enough info on the web.

Can you get them locally?

Not locally but you can get them from StewMac at http://www.stewmac.com/ There are a few types that does different things. Just take care which one you get. ?

Basically any wiring you could possibly want is doable with them.. Let us know what you're looking for and maybe someone can help.

If you're talking about a 5-way multipole then you can get them locally through Dimarzio or Fender, probably through a number of other brands as well.

I've owned the megaswitch p-model a couple of times and as nice as it feels having your pickup selector run on a ball bearing, the problem is that with time the unit shifts and the teeth holding the bearing in place start riding on it which causes the entire chasis to break. This has happened to me twice, and I'm sure I'm not THAT hard on these things...

I saw a Dimarzio one at Marshall's.
I was trying to buy a normal one and the chap tried to sell me a super-switch.
I pointed out it had one pole too many for my needs.
He said "oh"
