Death - Low life solo recording...

Hey guys, this is my first clip that I've tried to record. Tell me what you think. :-\

I just recorded it straight from my amp into the PC so the quality isn't great. I used audacity and the drums I isolated from a guitar pro tab as track and then played along.

It's 2 minutes long (sorry) taken just before the solo.

EDIT: I've been playing for 10 months on my electric so excuse the mistakes, any comments and suggestions are welcome. ?

That was cool. The Tune is stuck in my head ???

Cool I'm glad you like it ?

It's quite an easy song to learn I played it in D standard tuning, the drums make it sound a lot faster than it actually is. Now I just have to learn the James Murphy part of the solo (any takers? ?)

Ya its off the Spiritual Healing album, I'm learning a lot of Death at the moment. I have a long way to go but its coming right slowly.

That identical train of thought attacks me regularly. But you know what they say: what doesn't make you slit your wrists, makes you a better guitarist. ?

(I'm still going to record the whole song eventually and possibly learn the second guitar [baby steps lol] but it's a mission to play the whole way through without making any timing mistakes and THEN hitting the solos, but I'm learning hehe)

Yeah, sigh... Going to a Death concert must have been epic, wish I could have at least seen one...This dude could SCREAM. How he can play that fast and at the same time, I dunno.

Thanks dude!! Glad you liked it! Thats why the Feb compo freaked me out about entering a little, the distortion is normally on with the gain fully cranked when I play!

Awesome, thanks for taking the time to listen! Death was/is a very under-rated metal band, as heavy as it is it has a lot of melody in the songs. I love playing Death tracks ?
