Got a 2hnd Boss DD-3 a while back - plugged it in and no joy , powers on but no delays
after fiddling I checked the power supply (original Boss) and it was popped - outputting 14v
Ok great I try a digitech 9V supply - awesome all working
2 months later same thing happens - when I plug in the delay after not using it for a while (power supply was running a TS-9 perfectly just minutes before)
Digitech 9v popped - outputting 14v
I plugged the DD-3 into a 9V Power Bank - still appears to work fine , as do the rest of the pedals (RC20XL + TS-9 + Holy Grail on its own power supply)
I've never blown 9v guitar supplies before - Is there a chance the DD3 is somehow faulty?

Skylark, try this for me. Take your DD3 and plug in as normal, except have your guitar go into input and amp go into direct out. Better yet, maybe try that with a battery first, so with a battery plug DD3 normally i.e. input and output just to confirm if it works, if not, try using the direct out instead.
If it works with the direct out but not through the output, then it is indeed your DD3. Tell me what the results are

@FruitarGeek sorry man just edited my post - didn't make it clear the DD-3 does still appear to work 100%
But I am worried its got some fault that is blowing my 9V supplies!!

Oh ok. I got a faulty DD3 so naturally I would assume its the DD3 :?
