Happy new pedal day to ..... ME!!

CDee

I finally got my Strymon Blue Sky reverberator today, thanks to Dan at Audio Boutique ? ?

It's a fantastic pedal and very well built. It sounds great, very smooth and exatly what I was hoping for. I've not had a chance to play with it that much, but so far I really enjoy the plate shimmer type synthy ambient sounds.

I see it more as untapped potential... (More like future GAS space)

Hey CDee

When I clicked on this thread for some reason I had a feeling it would be for a strymon! ?
Also got hold of a blue sky yesterday, Dan was really great and even called me twice after the sale to give me extra info, so props to him!
Also digging the ambient stuff ?

did you get the GFSA intro offer? I missed it :'(

Yip, I was one of the lucky ones... Let me know what nice settings your getting... Where in your chain are you putting it?

kayDUB

Cool.
I'm splitting my signal and running it into a different amp/mixer. So i pretty much max out the decay and mix and switch between the modes/types for a nice ambient backdrop to my normal signal. Find the room type is smoothest for ambient.

How are you running it?

CDee

Not sure yet, I'm experimenting still... At the moment it's just at the end of my chain after the delay, next I'll try it before the delay.

Cool, well enjoy it man and congrats ?

Right back at you... Enjoy it! ?

Used it a band practise last night and it sounded very good. Need to dial it in a bit more though.
