Anyone out there know how much it would cost to courier an article + - 20 kg from PE to JHB?
Is there anyone you can recommend?

I have used Berco, on a few occasions. Never had an issue.
They will all look after it in fact, it is their business ?

Pricing depends on speed, preferably as quick as possible with music instuments I believe. So it all depends
They would be happy to work out a price for you depending on pick up area, destination and time frame ?
Just give them a call, get quotes..

I had a guitar send through the post office speed services from PE to Pretoria (guitar in a hard case), cost the guy R180-00. counter to counter and took 4 days.

I was surprised.

I've also used Speed Services to send a guitar from CT to JHB without any issues. The parcel was insured for the sale value of the guitar (R3000) and total fees were around R100 in 2008. Just pack it well and you should be fine!

Last I spoke to matta he swore by bex couriers (business xpress or something) for all things large like amps etc...
