How does one go about arranging something like this?
Is there a methodology to arranging songs like this? My theory isn’t my strong point, but I’m slowly fixing that. I still don't have a clue were to start on something like this though...

This is not easy, But what I am doing with The Beatles "In my life" is breaking the song down.
First work out the chords, then the melody, bass lines and then try and put it all together. Takes a lot of work, you might have to change the chord shapes to be able to play the melody as well.
Just do one line at a time.
I have got the intro, the verse and the chorus, I am just working on George Martins lovely little piano solo he does in the middle.
