Advice on Taylor 214ce

Was wondering if anyone had experience with the above. I've found the playability and feel as good as the 300's and sounds really good, much cheaper though.
Any thoughts?

I have no idea of the price rage you are looking at but (if you're in Gauteg) I would have a look at the Eastmans at Andy McGibbons Guitar World as well as a few Takamines. I have a feeling you may well be surprised at the Eastmans quality (as I was) and great value. Iseem to recall that Andy had a second hand Larrivee 03 series in a week or two ago so it is worth checking his shop out.

But hey, if your heart is set on a Taylor ....

Roberto, if you have played a few guitars and you really like the 214, get it... Taylor make great guitars...

What I really like bout the 214 is the x14 part... ? I almost got a 614 a few years back. That is a great guitar for live performances.

Thanks for the advice, was planning to check-out Andy's, and yes have played a few Martins. They're great but do prefer the Taylors!

Taylor vs martin is definitely a personal thing.. So, let's not go down that road, again ?

I would say check out the Larrivee's, again, personal preference, but they're great great guitars.

I will be honest, I've played 4 or 5 214ce's and honestly didn't like any of them. Felt they were a little lifeless and weren't bright enough. Their plugged in sound was what really put me off them, it was just so flat and un-guitar sounding.
That being said, I played two 314ce's in the USA and I LOVED THEM!!! Everything about them spoke to me. However, their plugged in sound wasn't great. So I ended up with a breedlove in the same price range.

Is it Eastman or Eastwood that make a 7-string arch top hollowbody?
