Good on you for getting a band and so much material together so young. Rack up those experience hours.

Just out of curiosity, how did you record those songs, do you have a home studio or something? Are they one take live recordings?

I ended up listening to the whole lot, and was very pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed the hooks, enjoyed the lyrics. I think whoever's writing the lyrics is a cut above the average. Good songs are the single most important factor in a band. And you guys have them.

@ Stratisfear - Yea, it is beautifull out here. We live on a farm on the Cheerio road around 6k's from Haenertsburg village. Just behind Stanford Lake.

@ Aubs1 - My name is Tamla Kahn McMahon. The Tamla Kahn is taken from a river in Botswana called the Thamelakane river, the river that Maun is on. There is also a Thamelakane fault, this fault is what caused the river feeding the inland sea {which are now the Makgadikgadi salt pans} to back up and form the Okavango swamps. Thamelakane means 'Place of many reeds'. My folks thought it sounded good and named me after it, the band thought that Tamla Kahn sounded good for a band name. Voila'!

Wow, that is such interesting info, I have been to quite a few countries in Africa, but Botswana is not one of them. I like the way your parents think, very creative ......... and the fact that you used your name for the band is just sooooooo coooooooool, love it! All the best to you and your band Tamla!!! Our baby son's name is KMI ( yep, that's his name, not initials) ......... hahahaha ......
