I need to pick up a few things and get my guitar set up by the enlightened. What places in and around JHB would you guys recommend? I live in Alberton so the south and/or Ekurhuleni would be most convenient.

I am not aware of any out that way however if you venture into the northern part of town the following are great for set ups etc

The first two i have used for actual work on the guitar as well ,both recommended but be warned sometimes the guitar is in for a week or so as they are busy.

Andy is a great shop with amazing tech's.
My fav shop is Marshal Music in Woodmead... Stuart and Gordy know their SHizzle and its always fun going there.

You certainly won't regret leaving your guitar with Grant Fouché at TOMS (Sandton) for a bit of tweaking. He works wonders on guitars.
