NorioDS I normally don't do this but Stuart from Marshall Music Woodmead DID sponsor an awesome Epiphone LP Standard for GFSA, so when he asked nicely to invite you all to the launch party, I gave in ? Check out the details below. Some nice talent will be there (I mean musically ?) and Stu is giving away yet another guitar. This time a Gibson. So be there to double your chances of winning. (Click here to enter the Epiphone competition.)
IceCreamMan I hear ALbert Frost will not be playing as he was not booked for the gig. From what time tomorrow and how many of you going to be there?

[deleted] Tonedef wrote Where is this Tanz joint? The Buzz shopping centre, off Witkoppen Road in Fourways. (If you get lost, it's in the same centre as Hooters...)
VellaJ Hehe, I'm almost considering "suiting up" for this. ? 'Tis a special occasion... GIBSON!
Jacquesg4j Awwww saw Albert Frost about 2 months ago in Bronkhorstspruit... Total crowd of 6 people... but it was awesome! the guy is a "looping" genius!!
deefstes I'll be there as well, ready to take ownership of my new guitar that I am about to win of course.
deefstes OK, so how awesome was that! Although I didn't win the guitar (which turned out to be a Les Paul Studio) but the show was brilliant. Superfly blew my hear back. Squonk, I think you were sitting at the table next to me but I couldn't be sure and decided not to walk up to stranger going "Hi squonk!".
Squonk Pity you didn't, Joel from the forum walked up and said "Are you Squonk" We should get GFSA T shirts ? Superfly were good, the whole drum solo things was excellent At least I won a Gibson Shirt
[deleted] Well I was there... But my name wasn't on the list, so I was made to stand around like a fool while my mates whom I let know, got in. I turned around and decided to go home after lurkin for about 5 min... After sitting in traffic for an hour to get there... I was not impressed... So much for my confirmation email from Stuart ? Anyway I'm sure it was just a little mistake... I own a Gibson anyway... Don't need another one! Haha ?
killafo No but really, did you want the shirt because it was black or because it has Gibson written on it!!! ....bwahahahaha........ Let the wars begin!! ?

Yes, the drum solo (if you can call it a "solo") was excellent. I also particularly enjoyed that bass solo.
