Series / parrallel pickup switch

Plea for help from you wiring boffins

I have a telecaster with humbucker in the neck and regular bridge pickup.

Can I wire in a small switch to switch between parallel and series connected when both pickups are on (middle tele switch position)..

To parallel the neck humbucker or to wire the two pickups in series? You can do it either way, but the wiring is different.

A simple way to wire the two in series is to fit the 4-way Telecaster switch, which adds the extra two pickups in series sound. To be honest, I'm not sure I'd want to do this with a neck humbucker, which is powerful enough already IMO.

I thought about the four way switch idea, but really want to put a small swith between the two control knobs.

I got a wiring idea from the Fender forum which works beautiful and yes you are right the sound is VERY powerful, with a strong overdrive signal.
