That's what I used to say about the three bolter Strats. When the '60s LPs prices have gone stratospheric the '70s stuff will start getting silly too.
As for mini-humbuckers in those '69+ LPs. I can't believe people are listening objectively when they claim to like them.
It's a different sound from the bigguns, but can still be good. I've heard many bad ones and most are so microphonic you can talk into 'em, but there are a few good ones out there too (Mojo's '70s minihum LP sounds quite good). Apparently Lollar's minihums are pretty awesome too.
