This is a great poll, but not an easy one to be honest on. Some of those descriptions just sound way too whacky. The poll has 14 options so I'd have to pick the 8th or 9th (or possibly 10th) if I consider myself to be somewhat above average. I certainly can't see the fans camping outside my house and I'd be arrogant to say "I have a guitar and trust me, I know how to use it, baby!" so I settled for number 8 (This is more like it!)

So if you asked me to rank myself on a scale of 1-14, I'd probably have gone for a 9 or 10 but, like Keira says, that also depends largely on what your application is and I'm not a pro muso.
The camping option hasn't been voted for. Suggestions for a change?
I left the poll open in the hope that peeps would change their vote from time to time, but I didn't intend it as a self-ranking tool. I think if it was something like "Beginner...intermediate...advanced...etc", it would probably have been even harder to answer. So it ended up as a sort of tongue-in-cheek thing.
ETA: Pending suggestions, I changed the camping option. You guys are welcome to modify your votes.
