I bought Absynth 5 during NI's December 50% off sale, finally received it the other day. What a cool, shiny toy!!

Of course, the only way to properly celebrate an NSD is to inflict some of it on you all. (Well the ones foolish enough to listen.)

Lemme know opinions! I know I liked making it, it has a few cool moments... I'm 50/50 on it myself so far. Little that I know about this genre.

Also, whether the speed up / slow down time change works is very highly debateable. But at least it makes it essentially non-danceable - yes!!

Was cool. Liked the eerie'ness. Reminded me soo much of video game music i.e. it's like chilled and then picks up and becomes faster and more like "daunting" when you are running from something or battling ?

Yeah you nailed it, that's exactly what it sounds like. Hmmm I think it needs a third 'movement' or 'riff' or whatever...maybe later.
