Fab show. Seemed to be a "British Legends" special - though I'm struggling to see why Bobby Whitlock was included. Anyway, Whitlock's presence also meant the presence of Eric Clapton. David Bowie opened up with an excellent performance of "Ashes To Ashes". Georgie Fame was excellent too. A well done rework of "She's Not There" with Colin Blunstone singing and Rod Argent on grand piano. Donovan doing "Mellow Yellow..."

Oh... and great thing of me nearly forgot, the totally fabulous Dusty Springfield.

I need to catch that show more often. Wednesday night I turned in early and in the morning Mrs X-Rated was bragging about how she'd watched Martin Simpson on Jools's show.

Les Paul trainspotters may have noticed that Jimmy Page is playing a mystery Les Paul that I've never seen associated with him. Maybe one of the early historics or something.

Going to go look for the Donovan now.

Moves around. Currently they've been running it on 113 at about 22:30 or 22:45. All reruns. Sometimes, when they have a newer set of reruns, it pops up on 120.
