Who does a decent Guitar Body respray in Gauteng?

racman

Can anyone recommend (here or via "pm") a decent "respray" contact in Gauteng? Looking at a solid color respray on an electric body (probably metallic). Of course by decent I mean someone who would strip the old paint off and spray on the new paint rather than just spray over the old paintwork. ?

Jeez, I hope its not one of your strats you want to refinish...?

Bob-Dubery

Andy McGibbon. You want him himself to do it

I dont know if he does it but Pete Buckle out this side builds beautiful instuments and very well finished. They have qa factory of sorts which I have never seen. So, maybe he does it. 011 9734831. Are you not cheerful about the color of your guitar?

Aaah, yes, offcourse. I was kinda hoping though that the mim burst would still be available when I had enough saved up for another guit. ? So may I be as forward as to ask then which one is getting the sparkle treatment? I think it can look great on the right axe. (Not so sure about Strats and Teles though...)

Actually I am considering doing a "Gretsch Orange" finish on my Morgan to match Bobs' Crocs for a duo at TJ's one day in the distant future ..... ?

chris77

Ha! ? ? I'm sure Bob will rather agree to buy brownish crocs than allow you to do that to the Morgan...

Thx Ray, I will give Pete a call next week.

Thx also Bob, will chat to Any as well next week.

The guitar itself is fantastic and I love everything about it ....except the color I am not crazy about. However, I am taking a while and will see if it grows on me. It's just that "green" is not one of my favorite colors - may have something to do with my second car I owned when I was a lot younger, being a used metallic green Ford XR3 that I learned how to refurbish the head about 8 times (last one was done in a parking lot) ... but that is a completely different story for another day ... ? ?
