With my bassman i kept it on RAWK mode, gain 1/4 tone 3/4 volume 1/2 but then you have a les paul so that will all be different

MIKA, it sounds great. Still figuring out the best settings on the amp and pedal so that I can manage all my drive with the guitar volumes. I've been wanting to do that for ages.

Sounded really great in the mix. And much more "hi-fi" than the tubescreamer. MIKA, I'm currently running the loudness at 9 o'clock - for parity with the amp - the tone up full, and the gain at 11:30. All on the "Rock" setting and running at 18V. With the guitar volumes full, this gives me a nice overdriven sound that's not too compressed, holds a lot of the guitar's character, and is really dynamic.
In fact it's actually shown up the weakness of the Tokai MK II pickup at the neck a little. It's not as stunningly rich sounding as the bridge pickup. Not bad, but not spectacular.

We didn't get round to trying out the "Rawk" setting but I almost popped it on for "The Dogs"... you should give that a bash... song appropriate and all...

How would you compare 9v vs 18v?

To be honest, I haven't even tried it at 9v yet. :-[
I'd heard so many people say, and heard comparison clips on the web, that I just went straight to 18v. But I'll try it out and let you know.
I'm not averse to throwing it into RAWK mode and Slashing things up ?

It's a great choice.
But I may just have the only one in the country right now. Got it from Joel, who got it from MIKA. But MIKA bought it at www.tonefactor.com. It's a very reasonable website for stomp-boxes, and where I would have bought had this DLS not become available. $14 shipping.

I'm in a position....a.k.a, have money lying around, that i'm able to purchase the DLS from tonefactor. Will there be a import taxes and all that jazz or does it get delivered normally?

I have imported alot !!! as have others on the forum...
I have never payed more than R20 import tax on a pedal!!!! thats about 6 pedals!!!! so order it through tonefactor and you should be safe I think ?

Just one more question if you will...... What happens when they out of stock, ahhahahaha. Every pedal i want they don't have in stock except for the BOSS-GE7 EQ pedal.
Is there usually a short waiting period, or are there other sites you would recommend buying online from?

Email Brad at tonefactor directly if its out of stock...... see what he says...... but with catalinbread also mail them (nick I think) and say to him you wantto buy a DLS from tonefactor but they out of stock, he will organise for you most likely as he is super helpful.... or he was with me ? but I am sure he is super nice to everyone
