Greetings, this may be useful:

Yesterday I used "Lennon Dutch Medicines - Witdulsies" to remove some artline koki (permanent marker) pen from a BOSS pedal that I sold - it worked amazingly well. Got some advice from the local pharmacist and he reccommended it. Apparently works well for removing ballpoint pen marks too!

If something said 'Lennon' and it said 'Dutch Medicine' I would certainly first associate it with stuff that broadens the view, enhances one's mood and leaves no headache...

Ha ha ha! classic! The scary thing is that the dosage on the bottle says take 5mls twice daily with a glass of water!! must be like drinking paint stripper!

I had a similar problem. I used Polycell paintbrush cleaner. Took off the koki, left the pedal finished untouched.

I hope these two products are not the same thing.

i use lighte fluid (naptha) to clean everything from kokis to caked up dirt on my guits.

Neve tried lennons, but then that stuff is like 80% alcohol

Rene, I can already see the little one drawing on walls, so the advice would be good to remove khoki pen marks from walls ?

@ inflames - phew glad to hear that - and congratulations - uh you might want to consider wall papering your house with newsprint for the next 8 years because nothing short of arson removes crayon from walls. 8)

Lennon's medicine contain about 80% alcohol - that's why the old folks liked it so much, so maybe that's what did the cleaning trick. Try some "witblits" also, maybe that'll work. ?

While on this topic: I recently found that acetone is good for cleaning lots of things, from glue to paint. Haven't tried it on Koki but I suspect it will work.

Careful with acetone - it'll damage any finish but polyester and loves melting most plastics.

Alan is correct, I use acetone to remove silicone!
