I would totally go. Alas for $4999 it seems very steep. Hey if I become famous I will send you there?

giggsy

Read about this in Q some time this year - sounds like a blast (albeit for the rich company exec or spoilt brat with loaded parents), but what a way to experience the thrill of being in a band

Alternatively, you could join an actual band.

? I suppose you could do it that way... :-[

But I doubt your first band would feature industry heavyweights, guarantee you a gig after a week, and importantly, guarantee you a crowd to play to.

inflames

Don't know if this is cool or sad!

I kinda get why R 'n Roll fantasy camp exists. The demand is there. But for all the money you spend, you're going to get a poorer experience than you would getting together with some crappy musicians and playing to your wives, girlfriends, and 2 barflies. Because that's a real challenge. And the whole experience of doing that will do more for you, and leave richer memories than playing alongside a bored Ace Frehley to a rent-a-crowd.

IceCreamMan

lot of these ppl are my hero's ,the opportunity to play with em and have a beer with em would be priceless, mebbe some cold gin with Ace ..... and then mebbe even chat up lita ford ?

the "sentimental" emotionpull is strong as evidenced by the kiss/pink flwoyd/rolling stones/ACDC tours of late where ticket prices have bene high due to demand by the 40 something brigade with cash ....

Sorry did you think Hellfire was an actual band - sorry did Jack not explain the contract when you signed the debit order? ???

Say what? He doesn't have to sell his entire soul in one go?

And they say charity is dead.

We understand the credit crunch so we let Singe to donate an organ a month ,besides he soul was already tainted and it was his heart, blood, sweat and tears we really wanted 8).

If you want someone with a feel for blues, you've got to figure up-front that their soul is at least heavily mortgaged. ?
