is there a pedal that can split my 2 guitars into the amp?

Hi guys i wanted 2 know if there is a pedal that i can plug both of my guitars in for quick access or switching.
The reason why i want this is because my 1 guitar is normally in standard E or Half step down and my other guitar is tuned to Drop B or Drop A(for the swedish death metal stuff ?)
I hope you guys can help me.
the idea that i have in my head is that there are 3 inputs on the pedal. 2 for your 2 guitars and the 1 for the amp.

I got one of these to split one signal to two amps, it can also be used to run two signals (one from each guitar) to one amp. Works great.

Any A/B switch works. They are simple - a box, a double-pole stomp switch and three jack sockets (I built my own, but made it a triple-pole switch so I could have indicator LEDs). Everyone should have at least one A/B switch. They can also be used to switch amps or to take a tuner out of the chain (and mute the guitar when the tuner is used).

An A/B/Y switch is also handy, but less useful. Usually only used to switch between amps, with the Y position used to blend the two amps together. Sometimes active to isolate the two grounds and prevent earth loops.

You can get fairly cheap kits for both A/B and A/B/Y switches from General Guitar Gadgets:

Alan, is it possible to build a 3 way selector, much like the Morley ABC footswitch without breaking budget. If so, where can I find the details to build one?

That will work, but it's FET switched and I suspect it uses the same buffer circuit Boss use in all their pedals - not an issue for most, unless you are a true bypass fanatic.

No, it took me by surprise, but makes an odd kind of sense. I suppose while some might argue that your website selling things is not working on the Sabbath, but if you are a strict orthodox type it might be construed as earning/taking money.

AB-2 is what I was thinking while I was reading the thread ... so +1 to FruitarGeek's suggestion. I have one and while it does use the FET switching that Alan mentions, it's clean and works rather well ... though I can't see why you'd need to use any stomp for what you're talking about. Just get a Neutrik Silent Jack or a switching Planet Waves cable/jack and unplug/replug while you're changing guitars.
